<![CDATA[2.4 (200) replaced with 2.5 (210)]]>After rebuilding the engine at 380 tkm (P2 V70XC, 2001), my best friend (not any more!) also mechanic left old cracked cables to engine sparks. Imagine in what condition after only 20 tkm rebuilded engine today is?

So, 'NEW' ENGINE IN with its complete cables ... Won't run, as there is some difference in cables and ...

Possible solutions:

  • flashing 2.5 engine specs to old computer (CEM) due to immo (HOW TO FLASH?),
  • using new CEM ti. 2.5 with canceled immo (HOW TO CANCEL?) and
  • (easiest?) changing again to old wiring (i have bought new/used good ones prior to engine change/failure) and taking off Bosch replacing it with a Magneti Marelli throttle body.

Any suggestions and useful help are needed PLEASE!!

  • can i flash 2.4 ECM with software from new 2.5 ECM?
