<![CDATA[ECM code required or not for Volvo xc70D5 from 2008?]]>Hello guys,

I have recently purchased an old xc70 d5 Volvo made in 2008.
I have the CEM code and I was told that this îs enough, because this old platform does not need the ECM decoded.
But when logging înto the vdash app, If I am trying to buy one of the available tuning stages, I have a message saying that this îs not possible without the ECM code and even worse, this cannot be decoded in a standard mode:((
What options do I have, apart from taking out the actual unit to someone who has the right tools to retreive the ECM code?

This seems to be an error in Vdash asking for a pin. RICA and BSR for example offer tunes without needing a pin for that engine. Only the Euro5 D5s should be pin protected.
