The vehicle failed the RIV inspection because the DRLs turn off when the headlight switch is in position 0. The DRLs work in all other switch positions. Issue: need to remove ability to manually switch off DRLs.

Volvo Canada says they require the Recall Compliance Letter process before they'll perform the software change.

Before I invest in hardware, I'd like to know whether VDASH can change the CEM configuration so the DRLs remain on in switch position 0 (Canadian behavior), or whether this requires Volvo-authorized software that VDASH cannot perform.

If VDASH supports this change, I'm happy to purchase the required hardware and software. Does anyone have experince with this configuration?

Thanks for your input!
