<![CDATA[DIM Conversion UK to EU]]>I have a XC70 II (2009 - RHD). I imported it from the UK to Germany about 14 years ago. It has a miles speedometer, but I have always used the KM units on the LCD info screen as a speedometer. Over the last year I have more small Info warnings being triggered, but these then "block" the LCD screen and I don't get exact Km/h ( I have to guess it from the Miles speedometer). I have 2 questions around updating the DIM to a modern LED one ( I already have VDash):

  1. Will the new display show KM or Miles by default on the main speedo dial or can I choose (will I need to do further reprogramming to achieve this or can I just swap dynamically?)

  2. Will the Odometer on the new DIM show miles or KMs? - this is a less critical question, as I will keep the car until it dies, but I'd like to know in case I get some odd questions at the 2 year road worthiness inspection (TüV certificate), in case they think I have been clocking the car
