Volvo V50 2012 Language change to German bad experience

Hello, everyone!
I’d like to share my brief but disappointing experience with changing the system language from Dutch to German.
Unfortunately, it’s a disaster. For the total amount I paid for everything, you’d really expect a proper language switch for the system. Unfortunately, all I got were loud “XXXXXXXXX” at car start, a blank screen when starting the radio, incomplete time displays like “15:0” instead of “15:03,” and so on.
If anyone knows how to fix this and could help me sort it out, I’d really appreciate it.

Das sieht aus wie eine unvollständige Markt- bzw. Regionumstellung. Dein Wagen ist kein Euromodell. In deiner Konfiguration stehen auch noch Meilen anstatt Kilometer. Hast du irgendwelche Fehlercodes hinsichtlich Konfiguration? Hast du nur die Sprache umgestellt oder sonst noch irgendwas?

Ich habe nichts außer die Sprache gemacht, und es gab keinerlei Fehlermeldungen hinsichtlich Konfiguration.
