C30 T5 fault code TCM-002A, TCM-0029
-
I have a problem with my c30.
It says incorrect gear ratio
I have changed the atf, valvebody, gearbox and the tcm
I still get the faults and only drive en limp mode and hard shifts

Those codes are for too low shifting pressure, or slipping clutches in 2nd and 3rd gear and could be caused by the wrong oil, to low oil level or worn clutches or a worn torque converter.
When did those codes apear for the first time and under which circumstances?
What oil do you use? The correct oil from volvo has the part number 1161540/1161640 or Aisin JWS 3309.
Did you perform an adaption reset after changing all those parts? -
Is the car tuned or stock?

If you connect Vdash, do you see a software update for the TCM? Volvo has update the TCM software somewhere in the past to address problems such as yours. Rough shifting and different error codes related to it. No PINs needed for that.

@MarkusC30T5 Hello Markus, did you solve your problem?
Just out of curiosity, how did you fill in the ATF? Did you remove any screw, or did you use the dip stick opening? Removing any screw from the top of an AW55 would explain your problems, but would also mean that your transmission has turned into worthles scrap metal. -
I have not solved it yet. But I have also changed the gearbox and the codes are still there.
Do somone know where to reset the TCM and update the TCM
I used the dipstick for new oil

@MarkusC30T5 what options do you see, when you connect vdash and click on the TCM after all ecus have been loaded?

@T5-T6-Schnappi
I see codes that says incorrect gearratio I every gear -
I'm somewhat clueless to be true. Could you post all codes that are present in your car, or a screenshot of them? Active and temporary.
The main problem is, that you already started to fire the parts canon and swapped in used parts, that could have brought additional problems with them or they are simply the wrong part, as Volvo changed some things around the transmission over time. There are different part numbers for the transmission, valvebody and so on, depending on the chassis number, if look them up in VIDA. There are also at least 5 different software numbers for TCM that I found so far. Trying to help you is like looking through a crystal ball. More or less just wild guessing. Maybe you need to visit a local Volvo specialist.
