Volvo S60 (2004) Autodimming Rearview Mirror with Compass Retrofit

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knows whether I can fit an auto dimming rearview mirror with a compass from a 2008 Volvo XC90 or a 2007 Volvo XC70 into my 2004 Volvo S60 and get it working. My S60 currently has the standard manual mirror.

Has anyone done this swap before?

@David-B-Seres those mirrors/UEMs are not compatible with your car. Look up the correct part number for your car in VIDA. It should be 30658231 or 30658232. Compass is not possible for your car. You also need to clone the software of your original mirror to the donor part and change the car configuration to automatic dimming mirrors with Vdash which requires the CEM pin.
