EGR Adaptation and Injector Coding
-
Hello, I am new here, so apologies in advance if I am asking a really stupid question.
I have a 2009 C70 which I have fitted new injectors and EGR valve to but I need to reset the EGR adaptation and code the injectors.
Have downloaded the VDASH software and installed it (have the free version for personal use) but the options to reset the EGR adaptation and code injectors does not appear to available. Is this because it is the free version for personal use? If so, what do I need to do to enable these features please?
Many thanks.

@C70Nightmare injector coding is not available on sponsored accounts. https://d5t5.com/article/subscription-types-prices

Thank you for your quick reply, much appreciated. I have just noticed that my subscription says Vdash 2.0 small. I think I am probably being really dim but looking at the subscription types Small looks like it should have the option for injector coding. Am I missing something really obvious?

@C70Nightmare what options do you see when you click on the ECM? Your engine should only require setting the correct injector class, so you won't see the IMA code option that you might have seen in some online tutorials or videos. If you replaced your injectors with the same class, you won't need to do any coding at all. All 4 injectors have to be the same class.

Ah, that's really helpful, thank you. I replaced all 4 injectors all with class 5 - same as the previous ones. How do I reset the adaptation values on the EGR?

@C70Nightmare should be also an option in the ECM menu.

Many thanks, much appreciated. Best regards.

@C70Nightmare you might also ask the threadstarter of this thread https://forum.d5t5.com/post/674 for his version of VIDA, as Vdash lacks lots of options, because the main focus of this software is coding. Diagnostics and service functions are just add-ons that are partially implemented, but not even close to the level of VIDA.
