VOE 9513108 Replacement does not work ?

Hello.
I recently bought this from the E-shop. I plugged it in to the car and to the laptop lan port. Windows did not find an ip nor any of the port lights did not light up. So there is no network connection to the voe cable. Is this correct operation ? Car was not a Volvo. I was just testing the thing.

I am having the exact same issue. Haven't found any leads yet.

An VOE cable is only for vehicles on the SPA and CMA platform.

Your S80 is on the P3 platform, therefore an original (of cloned) DiCE or Super J2534 is needed for a connection
