After rebuilding the engine at 380 tkm (P2 V70XC, 2001), my best friend (not any more!) also mechanic left old cracked cables to engine sparks. Imagine in what condition after only 20 tkm rebuilded engine today is?

So, 'NEW' ENGINE IN with its complete cables ... Won't run, as there is some difference in cables and ...

    Possible solutions:

    • flashing 2.5 engine specs to old computer (CEM) due to immo (HOW TO FLASH?),
    • using new CEM ti. 2.5 with canceled immo (HOW TO CANCEL?) and
    • (easiest?) changing again to old wiring (i have bought new/used good ones prior to engine change/failure) and taking off Bosch replacing it with a Magneti Marelli throttle body.

Any suggestions and useful help are needed PLEASE!!

Sorry but I mixed ECM and CEM ...
      So:

      • how to cancel immo in CEM?
      • can i flash 2.4 ECM with software from new 2.5 ECM?
      • replacing cables??

@Cookie_69 wrong forum for such questions. Vdash won't be useful for any of your questions.
Engines with Bosch throttle body require a different ECM. Those ECMs are not compatible with your CEM, so you need another CEM and somehow adopt it to your car. And so on.... Absolutely not worth it. You will basically need to update your whole car to the electronics of a 2005+ Model.
Get the correct engine for your car, or scrap it and get a new car.
