CEM decode and VCM battery reset
-
Hi,
Currently trying to decode cem pin, but it says it will take 220hours.. I have the Ethernet cable from d5t5, have tried WiFi and 5g, 2 chargers with 12 and 25A output. Car battery is under 12months old. Computer is relatively new laptop with i5 and ssd.
Any ideas what to do? Also, does this include VCM IMMO key, that is needed to reset the vcm battery counter?

Decode should give you access to all possible configuration changes for your vehicle. Decode does take a long time but 220 hours does seem a lot, i would check your internet speed - that may be slowing it down. I believe the fastest would be a cable directly connected from the laptop to the modem - Wifi or 5g is probably slowing it down.

Thanks for your reply, i finally managed to finish it with the slow speed. You can imagine my frustration when it refused to reset the battery count.. it says I need VCM immo key. I have never heard of that before.
Any others who have managed to reset VCM battery with SPA?? The VoC needs service is usually about this..
