Hello, I am trying to figure out if I am doing something wrong or if this is an error but I am trying to decode my CEM pin but when I click on the decode pin button I get two options greyed out with the lines diagonally across them and no way to choose or proceed. I recently purchased a full / unlimited subscription on a sponsored account. I thought that would allow me to do everything I needed to. I have the option to change settings but for some reason cannot choose anything when trying to decode the pin. 2005 XC90 D5 M66 Spanish market car in the U.S.

Hi I suppose you are talking about the "fast" AI powered decoding, and the standard slow options. I also was not able to figure out how to activate the fast option, so used the standard one and in about 7 hours, the CEM was decoded. Doesn`t matter if you purchase the unlimited changes for your car, before decoding the CEM you will not be able to make any changes which require writing into the CEM.

@joroartcorp I understand but I cannot choose either option.

Did you checked on the home page after connecting the car if the PIN decoding is possible? For some reason sometimes PIN, or IMMO decodings are defined as not possible.

Yes I checked the home page and it has the option to decode pin. Support got back to me and said that the AI option is having technical difficulties now but that it should be back up in a few weeks. But there is also the option to decode normally through VDASH but that is also greyed out. I purchased the ultimate flat subscription through a sponsored account thinking that that is what I needed to do to have access to decode the pin but I am being told I need another subscription? At least a "small account" . I am fine with adding that too but it seems a bit confusing and not very straight forward unless I am just doing it all wrong. Thank you for your replies

@Savethevolvos I've got the same problem with my P2 V70, but I've got on my account a small subscription and bought the flat config. Dunno what's going on, didn't have any problems with my S40II and S80II. Maybe AI model is on holidays lol

@Jer There is no ETA when AI decoding will be available again. If your car is modelyear 2005 or newer, get yourself a VDD https://d5t5.com/article/vdash-vdd-dongle or build a Teensy https://github.com/vtl/volvo-cem-cracker/wiki to crack the PIN.
