VIDA 2014D/2015A Windows 11
-
@Vreaper I have the same issue with the zoomed in isoview window, but only under Win 10 on a laptop that had another version of VIDA installed before I switched to ZaanTerrors Version. I can zoom in and out with the mouse wheel and with a pinch-and-zoom gesture on the trackpad. But here comes the weird part, if I boot this laptop from a Windows to go USB drive with Win 11 and clean install of VIDA, this issue doesn't occur. So my conclusion is, there is something left from a previous version of Isoview or VIDA that causes this. Maybe a registry entry or some sort of config file.

@T5-T6-Schnappi would you mind to share how you remove previous installation file on your win10? I have another laptop with win10 that i installed a failed vida previously, im trying to reinstalled with @ZaanTerror installer, but i could not proceed ad the vida does not recognize to be installed in the setup

@sangcXL3 I first stopped VIDA Monitor and all SQL services, then I uninstalled the old VIDA, everything related to SQL, and Isoview with their uninstallers. Rebooted the computer. And then I manually deleted all folders related to VIDA, Volvo, Isoview and Microsoft SQL. This is quite tricky as lots of those folders are hidden. Look into the subfolders of C:/ProgramData/ (hidden); C:/users/{yourWindowsusername}/AppData/ (hidden) press Windows-key together with R and then simply enter AppData and press Enter to open this folder; C:/Program Files (x86)/Common Files/; C:/Program Files/Common Files/. I also removed several registry keys in HKLM\SOFTWARE\ and HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node.
After another reboot the new VIDA installed without problems. -
I actually was able to solve the issue on my win11 machine
for anyone else with the same issue
try setting the resolution under 1440x900 and have absolutely no scaling. i think scaling 150% on the 1920x1080 resolution was causing it for me
when i lower resolution under 1440x900 it never happens.
I think vida back then wasnt used to running on high resolutions, atleast with dpi scaling.

@ZaanTerror Thank you so much.
I install your version, and at least for my case is perfect. I didn´t find yet any problem. Also, it was so easy to install it. -
@ZaanTerror I installed it and have been using it for a while now, it works great, when could I get a new version of what you're commenting on?

There are VidaMonitor logs in the C:\VIDA\System.
But i think you can fix the issue in 2 ways:
1 - enable Vidamonitor at windows startup and reboot the system so VidaMonitor is started with System rights.
2 - uninstall VIDA (dont uninstall SQL!), install again and reboot -
@ZaanTerror yeah it works flawlessly on my toughpad too.
reinstalling it worked,
if it breaks again ill try to track whats happening better on the system day to day, and when or if it bricks the vida again where i have to reinstall ill atleast report back and share what did it. at this point in time seems like some kinda update. or theres this iobit advanced systemcare software i figure that kinda program coulda messed with the vida unknowingly
but ill figure out what bricked it on the surface just incase anyone else runs into the problem

Works absolutely brilliantly, one click and everything installs as easy as can be and runs perfect, genuinely outstanding work, tried it on a Dell Precision 5540 running W11 Pro (Version 10.0.26200 Build 26200)
with a JLR V168 (pro) off AliExpress with the D5T5 drivers on a 2001 S60
