Changed configuration, now VDASH and VIDA report different values. Is this normal?

Hi. 2010 XC60 T6 USA. I decoded my pin and updated the configuration, modifying the "tyre circumference" parameter from 2250mm to 2395mm. After making the change successfully in VDASH, I reloaded my configuration in VITA just to check it, and VIDA reports the tyre circumference as 2210mm.
Do you all check your configuration changes against VITA, and do they match? I'm concerned that VDASH has entered a value that is not compatible with my car and now I don't know which number to trust.

@Shawn327 If you're refering to VIDA2014D. Than not all changes are shown or correctly decoded by this outdated version. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about as long as the changes you have made are working as expected and you don't get DTCs about incompatible configuration. You just need to keep in mind that visiting a Volvo dealer and getting software updates/reloads with the official VIDA will revert all changes made with Vdash. This means configurations, tunes and keys that you added.

@T5-T6-Schnappi Thank you. The change I made does seem to work in terms of improving some things (shift points) but not others (speedo accuracy). I do get a DTC about incompatible configuration for the DIM, and the "i" display flashes occasionally.
My guess is that I am using a tire dimension that is outside the bounds of the firmware for my car (at least as far as the DIM is concerned), if that makes sense.

@Shawn327 If you didn't change anything else, this makes sense. Change the circumfence back to the original value and try to determine how many percent your speedo is off with a GPS or mobile phone, and than change to value again by the percents you are off. Use the predefined values in Vdash only.

I wasn't really that concerned about the speedo and odometer, but rather the shift points. I put very large all-terrain tires and the shift points are not great. I think the change to the tire circumference and tire model actually improved the shift points, but also resulted in the subject DTC issue.

@Shawn327 the circumfence is only relevant for the speedo and odometer. The transmission works with some sort of mappings based on calculated engine load/calculated torque requirement, and decides based on that when to shift up/down. You will need to modify the ECM and TCM software for a different shifting behavior.
Another thing you should keep in mind is, that much bigger circumfence means more torque needed to get the car moving under all driving circumstances. This results in much higher mechanical stress to the whole drivetrain under all driving conditions. Especially your angle gear and transmission are facing a higher torque load whenever you accelerate. Expect that you need to service or even rebuild them in the very near future. You should at least flush the transmission, angle gear, differentials and Haldex at a very regular and short interval.
