Volvo XC40 T3 2020 manuál – dodatečná aktivace adaptivního tempomatu ACC
-
Ahoj,
- funguje Lane Keeping Assist
Zajímalo by mě, jestli má někdo zkušenost s dodatečnou aktivací ACC u XC40.
Pokud jste to řešili, kde jste to nechávali dělat a kolik to stálo?

@girhoobin Volvo doesn't offer ACC for manual cars for security reasons as there is a very realistic risk to stall your engine when ACC is decreasing the speed too much. You might be able to enable the parameter with Vdash anyway.
But it's definitely a serious traffic security risk to enable it in a manual car, as a suddenly stalled engine while driving means almost no brakes and a highly distracted and panicing driver who tries to restart his engine or doesn't even know what to do while the car is still rolling, and therefore it's absolutely not recommended as you are threating your own life as well as the lifes of everyone around you. -
I don't think it's as serious as that. Volvo explicitly mentions the possibility of ACC with a manual transmission in the manual for my car:
"To start the function requires the following:
• The driver's seatbelt must be buckled and the driver's door must be closed.
• There must be a vehicle (the "target vehicle") within reasonable distance in front of the car, or the current speed must be at least 15 km/h (9 mph).
• For cars with manual gearbox. Speed must be at the lowest 30 km/h (20 mph)."I believe the car's system is fully designed and adapted for it. The only thing is, I really don't want to pay Volvo 50,000 CZK (~$2,200) when I can get the exact same feature for a tenth of the price.

@girhoobin this is indeed new to me.
Based on that price your car lacks the hardware requirements for ACC anyway. Do you have a detailed offer or did they just tell you the price of ~2200,-€. The "application" to activate ACC with VIDA should cost around 50-150 Euro, so the rest of the price is for changing/adding hardware. ACC requires a separate vacuum pump (31252952) , seperate sensors (32134966, 32134967) additional wiring, maybe also an additional control module and so on. Just enabling parameters will not work.
