Hello, greetings from Canada. I have a 2008 v50 2.4 d5 that I've blocked off egr and weight reduced the dpf. However after loading any iteration of the optimization for egr/dpf off I continue to get fault 6720 egr flow too high, and if I view live data egr valve movement is being commanded. If anyone has a solution to this I would greatly appreciate it as tuning options here are limited to basically just me.

Or maybe just disable it in the ECU?

@0xballer create a support ticket here if you have problems with tunes from D5T5.

@T5-T6-Schnappi I made a ticket same day I made this post, still don't have a resolution as of yet. Sort if in a hard spot as these cars don't really exist here so I'm largely on my own. if you or anyone has any suggestions for tunes that would be appreciated, as the car isn't really drivable in its current state.

@0xballer You might want to get in touch with Obbe tuning https://www.obbetuning.nl/
This is the guy who makes all tunes for D5T5. Maybe he can help you. But I'm not sure if the tune is your problem.
Just out of curiosity. Have you already checked/cleaned your throttle body, MAF and MAP sensors? If those are blocked/dirty with lots of soot it's possible that you will get misleading DTCs like too high or too low flow. Also MAF related error codes can be triggered if these sensors are too dirty. It's also possible that one or more injector is worn out.
On some engines the EGR still has to be clean and working, even if it's "deactivated" in the map. I'm not sure about your engine with this.
What adapter are you using to flash the tunes? Anything else than a good DICE clone with M32C chipset or a Super J2534/Mongoose JLR Pro with Atmel chipset is clearly not recommended and might also be a source for your problem. Same goes for the charger/battery tender which has to be connected to the car while flashing any software. But I think that's not really the cause of your problem.
And be aware that your ECM can only be programmed/flashed around 10-20 times before the flash memory might start to go bad and will irreversibly brick your ECM. V50 ECMs are really not designed for regular software updates.

It’s setting egr flow too high, I’ve cleaned the intake, egr valve, and everything else that was covered in soot. The tune is being flashed correctly but it seems like the egr valve wasn’t shut off correctly as it’s still being commanded to move. Obbe just said to make a support ticket as well, I may have to reach out again.
