    @Jovatech Vdash won't be useful for this, as it lacks the needed diagnostic commands for your car. You will need VIDA for this.
    You basically disconnect the battery, change the CCM, reconnect the battery, and then connect VIDA and navigate to diagnostics/vehicle communication/CCM/advanced and use the 2. option. Not sure what it's called in english. Something like self adjustment of flap motor/actuator stop.
    That's it.
    If your old CCM is still communicating, you can clone it Vdash, but as you want to install a used one, the software for it to operate should already be present in the replacement.

    @Kurt1977 I think I'm getting old. 🤔

    The official guide recommends cloning the software and than perform SRS configure. As your original module has a checksum error indicating corrupted software or a bad EEprom , cloning won't work.
    You can try to just perform the SRS configure if you install a used module hoping the software is the same than in your original module or at least compatible with your car. If this doesn't work you will need an official VIDA subscription to perform a software reload, but this will only work if the software for the donor part is still present on the servers and if VIDA thinks the part number is somehow compatible with your car. Volvo has started to remove lots of softwares and part numbers for superseded/discontinued modules from their VIDA servers making software downloads impossible for those parts.

    You can also try to contact some specialists for ecu repairs and ask them if they can fix your original module.

    @Puppi

    Hi, hat sich der Fehler bzw die Ursache in der Zwischenzeit aufgeklärt oder hast du (doch) mal versucht quer zu tauschen? Gab es noch weitere Symptome?

    @T5-T6-Schnappi Thanks for advice, i borrowed other cable and everything worked out. Also it works with different part/hardware numbers too( added picture). If it will be useful to anyone, it is enough to buy ETM by model year, the codes may differ.

    @Cookie_69 wrong forum for such questions. Vdash won't be useful for any of your questions.
    Engines with Bosch throttle body require a different ECM. Those ECMs are not compatible with your CEM, so you need another CEM and somehow adopt it to your car. And so on.... Absolutely not worth it. You will basically need to update your whole car to the electronics of a 2005+ Model.
    Get the correct engine for your car, or scrap it and get a new car.

    Hey, did you end up getting this sorted at all? I've recently acquired an XC70 P2 which is reading the same DD10 LIN Communication Fault. I haven't looked into the problem in too much detail but it's something I'm getting round to, if you did end up getting it sorted, any tips/things to check would be great 🙂

    @SU-AM Removing the pressure sensor will drain the AC. You will need to evacuate/empty to whole AC via a vacuum pump and then refill it with R134a without letting any air going in the system. I can't tell you the exact amount of refrigerant. Stay away from those DIY refill sets. You will make more damage than you can even think of by using this crap. Fill in to much and you damage several parts of the AC. Fill in too less and the AC won't work and you will also create damages.
    Visit a garage that has the special tools and experience that are required for this and let them do it the proper way.

    @smithnumbertwojunk In general for any petrol P2, you simply unplug the old one and plug in the new PEM. Done. No coding needed.

    @McVolvo How about providing more information? What car, what modelyear, what engine code, which DTCs are present in the car, what has already been done to solve your issue? My first guess would be wrong plugs, clogged fuel filter, or intake leak.

    @Nuki Moin aus Berlin!
    Deine Frage ist zwar schon ein bisschen älter, aber trotzdem würde mich interessieren ob Du irgendwo eine brauchbare Antwort bekommen hast? Prinzipiell könntest du die Stand-/ Zusatzheizung komplett deaktivieren. Aber dann ist sie halt permanent komplett aus.
    Warum möchtest Du das überhaupt machen? Zumindest der Verbrauch von rund 1 Liter Diesel pro Stunde ist im Vergleich zu den finanziellen Folgen vom regelmäßigen Fahren mit kaltem Motor geradezu lächerlich.

    @axelwg Thank you. I've set aside my whole day for this tomorrow. There's 12V on one pin of the sunroof motor socket, but when I press the button, there's no interaction on any of the pins. According to my research, the UEM module inside the rearview mirror also needs to be replaced. I haven't replaced the mirror yet; I'll try tomorrow.

    Small update: since I installed the used Bosch MAF with the adaptor cable, I haven't gotten the DTC, I took it to mild mountains and so far so good, now I gotta take it to the beach and check there.
