@bastienlaf I can't tell you why Vdash doesn't read any codes, but to delete them, you will need the VGM pin for your car. This pin can only be obtained by installing a software update/reload via the official VIDA and monitoring the traffic between the car and VIDA while this happens. Do you see all modules after clicking connect in Vdash? If yes, in which colours?

@bastienlaf do you have any 3rd party antivirus, security, firewall software installed?

I don't see any module in the page, I only see that it's connected to the car, but it shows no information other than the VIN
I don't have 3rd party antivirus or security, just basic Microsoft stuff.

@bastienlaf You also need to put the car in D and then in N to read codes. And you have to sit on the drivers seat all the time. Putting the car in P or leaving the seat will end the communication with the car.

Yes, when I click connect it opens the vehicle detect tab, in this I can click READ TCD, but it doesn't show tdc just the error code.
I was sitting no the driver seat and had the car in D, not it N maybe that's my issue. Also driver door was open

@bastienlaf P* are a little bit out of my experience, so I can't tell what might be the problem here. But I think it's either your computer that has problems with using 2 network connections simultaneously. One to your car and one to Internet. Or the Vdash servers need a little kick in the butt.
You can also try this software https://vtool.info/ but you will still need the VGM pin to delete codes.

I need to configure my headlight and blindspot sensor so I will need the PIN, just debating wether I buy Vdash or OrBit

@bastienlaf Orbit offers the pin retrieval as a paid service and actually shows you all pins you paid for. Vdash can't crack/obtain any of the pins you need. But even it would be possible through Vdash, you wouldn't get to see the pins. The rest of the functionalities are basically the same for both softwares.
And if you want to visit a volvo dealer, you need to revert all changes done with Vdash or Orbit, or your car will be blacklisted for all software updates. https://d5t5.com/article/vida_software _download_failed_car_blocked

Oh, thanks for the information. That means, if I ever sell the car I would need to revert all changes before selling it (which would remove headlight and blind spot sensor configuration) ?

In this case, I should go with Vida to do all the configuration, that way I would be safe
