    Hello,

I`m constantly receiving the DIM-U300045 error code considering that my mileage has been manipulated, as I have checked with CarVertical and it appeared that around 50K km "dissapeared" in my calculations. Is there a way to fix that, what will be the price for it, and will the odometer show the real mileage after the fix?
    Thank you in advance!

Hello again, just to check if someone can help...
Also I`m planning to install a TFT odometer (already have it, just the additional cable is the problem). Is that going to fix the error code and show the real mileage?

@joroartcorp contact the vdash support. You have to create a backup of your existing DIM with vdash, which needs to be corrected and than flashed back to your DIM. This will only be done on request. The support should give you exact advices how to do that.

@joroartcorp don't do the retrofit until your error got fixed!

@T5-T6-Schnappi Thank you for the advice! Why not to do the retrofit? Is there any risk for not functioning, or not working at all?

Hi again, yesterday I made the retrofit and I can say the the process went well.
              But, 2 things:

              • still receiving the same error code
              • the mileage is now about 5K km more

For the mileage, I was expecting it, as after a paid check it turned out that the car left Italy at around 160K km, but during the registration in Bulgaria, was on 126K.

So 2 questions here what`s wrong with the mileage and why still receiving the DIM error?

              Thanks in advance!

@joroartcorp the software of your original DIM was tampered to ignore the real mileage of your car, which is stored and read from several modules of your car, like ECM, TCM, DDM, PDM, CEM and most probably some more. Instead it shows some much lower numbers and has the DTC about incorrect software. During the retrofit this defective software was transfered to your new DIM. So you still have this DTC. If you want to get rid of the DTC, you have to revert to the original hard- and software configuration of the car and visit a volvo dealer to do a software reload for the DIM. Or create a support ticket and kindly ask the guys from D5T5 if they are able to fix the software for your new DIM.
