If your car was involved in an accident, your car is in“ crash mode“ and won't start. In this case you have to replace all airbags that were deployed, and than you can use vdash to get your car back to live.

@joroartcorp the software of your original DIM was tampered to ignore the real mileage of your car, which is stored and read from several modules of your car, like ECM, TCM, DDM, PDM, CEM and most probably some more. Instead it shows some much lower numbers and has the DTC about incorrect software. During the retrofit this defective software was transfered to your new DIM. So you still have this DTC. If you want to get rid of the DTC, you have to revert to the original hard- and software configuration of the car and visit a volvo dealer to do a software reload for the DIM. Or create a support ticket and kindly ask the guys from D5T5 if they are able to fix the software for your new DIM.

@joroartcorp Vdash\D5T5 won't show you the PIN. No matter what decode method you use. The PIN is added to the vdash database once it's decoded, so you can work with vdash. If you need the PIN for other programs, you need to find other ways to retrieve it.

@Gorky571818 This code has nothing to do with your problem. There is most probably a CVM code for a misaligned FSM present in your car.

OBDlink does not work. Regardless what you try. You need J2534 compatible hardware.

Do the LEDs in the adaptor light up, when connect it to the car?
Where did you buy your adaptor?
Did you try a different USB port?
Did you try to simply reboot your computer, as Windows sometimes locks up certain files until you reboot it.
Did you use the correct connecting order? 1.Adaptor in the car, 2. Ignition on, 3. Cable in the USB port.
Do you have any third party anti-virus software installed? If yes, disable, or even better, uninstall it.
You can also try a re-install. Uninstall Vdash, reboot your computer, download and install a fresh copy of Vdash https://d5t5.com/sw/vdash.exe and see if it updates itself after starting it.

@evov and engine should not run when you connect vdash. Ignition needs to be in pos. II, ingnition on, engine not running.

@Ariot your computer needs to have a good internet connection while you are in your car.

To unlock your speed limiter, you need to decode your CEM pin first. Depending if your car is already an ICUP (Android Automotive) or a still a Sensus car, you can either decode it by brute force, or you need to buy AI premium pin decode. @Alexika there is no direct way to clone to a used CEM. Cloning requires a "virgin" (brand-new/unused), or a "virginized" CEM. Virginizing a used CEM requires special tools and knowledge.

@D5T5-zub I'm experiencing another problem since the update to firmware 0.95.59. My Sensus randomly fails to boot at the first attempt. When I turn on the ignition, I see the boot logo of the Sensus for a longer than usual time, followed by a reboot of the Sensus. This happens maybe 1 of 10 times I start the car and began shortly after the VDD was updated. No DTCs.
