Thank you very much for your help. Before buying any new modules, I removed the headlight and checked the part numbers of the modules I transferred from my original US headlights.

I currently have:
HIR: 31446806
FFM: 31468410
LCS: 31395946

I also tested two different DRL LED boards (9 LED and 10 LED versions), and neither of them worked in the EU headlight.

I also did an important test: I reinstalled my original US headlight with these modules and everything works correctly, including the DRL/Thor Hammer and front indicator. So the modules themselves seem to be functional.

From what I found, 31446806 appears to be a newer replacement/supersession for one of the module numbers you listed.

Do you think my current modules should work with the EU headlights after the correct HCM software reload/initialization?

Or do I actually need to replace them with the older part numbers you listed (31395943 / 31395944 / 31395945 / 31395946) and then perform a software reload?

I'm trying to avoid buying another complete set of modules if my current hardware is already compatible and only needs the correct software.

@Libelix That will hurt your bank account. New VCMs are really expensive.

You will need to revert all changes done with Vdash and OrBit. The CEM configuration has to be the one that is known to the VIDA/Volvo servers in sweden or the car will be blacklisted.
If the independent has paid for a VIDA license which includes software reloads he should be able to do this. But the price for the software reload will be the same or even higher than by the official dealer as the license fees are very expensive, and almost every software package has to be bought like a "spare part". Ask for an offer first.

@pvm I can't tell you if Vdash is capable to clone HCMs on SPAs. But you will see if this option is available in the clone menu. CEM pin shouldn't be required for this. Your ENET/DoIP adapter is perfect for software updates/cloning and recommended on SPAs. J2534 is only for older plattforms and also good for pin cracking on SPAs up to 2021.

You need a software update. Part number 32398268. Official VIDA subscription or trip to the dealer required. There is no other way to fix this.

It seems that the certificate is the unsurmountable problem, any clues?

@tone The VOE adapter doesn't need any driver. Your computer must be capable to maintain 2 network connections simultanously which isn't possible on lots of non-business devices. The Mongoose/Super J2534 drivers can be found here https://d5t5.com/sw/J2534_Driver_x64.msi
The Super J2534 will also work for your car.
To reset the on call message you will need to visit a volvo dealer or someone with an official VIDA subscription. You need a software download to reset the VCM with part number 32398268. This isn't possible with Vdash.

@Ceco Vdash can't sync/program used VCMs to your VIN. You need to find another way. Orbit and VIDA also can't be used for this. Sorry.

@DahuNejc the main focus of Vdash is coding, not service and diagnostics. Some functions are just not implemented (jet), or are located where you don't expect them. Lots of functions have to be started from the CEM for example.
You might also want to take a look at this program https://vtool.info/ which is made with diagnostic and service as main focus.
There is also a mobile phone app called V-Tool https://v-tool.app/ which should have the roof calibration function.

Read on another source, clean the MAF sensor.
I had just done a service and new air filter, figured some fluf or other residue from the new filter got on the MAF, cleaned with electrical cleaner, refitted, all faults and warning clear.

hi, Dont know if you got an answer, but i bough a Vlinker dongle and used an app called Vtool, very good ap and can do the battery reset with it, hope that helps
