Hi @VOLOK, you seem a expert, can you advise if VDASH offers for my V90 2018 a CEM PIN decoding option, is it enough for geting done that VCM reset in there? Or i need besides the CEM also a IMMO pin which is not given with that decoding?

Assuming "clone the software of the old module" means to clone the flash memory containing the software, my mechanic did that along with the EEPROM, which resulted in lost communication with the SRS module (appears grey in VIDA.) This happened to 2 donor modules and eventually I read a post confirming this will happen when the donor module flash memory is overwritten.

I have read some posts from people who spoke with VDASH support that "Configure SRS" only works for new SRS modules.

I am puzzled what "clone the software of the old module" involves but haven't heard anything from support yet.

@gad300 type your VIN in the search field on the D5T5 homepage and see what options for engine optimization are available.

@Vauxi the VOE adapter is only compatible with cars that support DoIP (Diagnosis over Internet Protokol). That means SPA, SPA2, CMA plattform and maybe future generations. For the P1, P2, P3 plattform, you will need a DICE(clone), Super J2534, Mongoose Pro or whatever adapter, that supports the J2534-2 protocol. For the P80 plattform you would need an original DICE or a really good quality DICE-clone.

@Searchy the HCM for your replacements should have part number 31468411. The original UK ones should have 31395944. So that might be part of your problem. I'm not sure if a software reload is needed when using used parts.

I wonder if it is possible to post pictures here? And "If YES" How do you do it?

It's not very difficult because, honestly, it doesn't provide good support; everything ends up kind of lost. No one has a valid answer. They say the module doesn't have a side, but it's clear that it does: HCMR on the right and HCML on the left. They are connected by the same CAN network of the car. How to program or calibrate, which software to use? I have the Launch Smartlink, but no one has correct information.

um als deutscher Normalo Zugriff auf VIDA online zu bekommen, musst du Betreiber einer Meister-Kfz-Werkstatt sein. Dann kannst du dich hier https://tis.volvocars.biz/main.do registrieren und bekommst im Tausch gegen abartig viel Geld Zugang zu allem was du suchst. Mein letzter Sachstand sind knapp 8000 Euro im Jahr, wenn auch Zugriff auf Softwareupdates enthalten sein soll, die natürlich jeweils nochmal extra kosten.
