Hello, reinstall Vdash, the installation has been updated to the latest version.

It was discovered last week, that there
can be some times where the PHEV
T8 vehicles, will not be in the correct
state for programming. It can cause a
painful problem if the car is flashed
when the battery contactors are in the
"closed" state, the contactors could
get stuck and require Volvo service to
fix it. It has been a problem only for
the "pre 2020" T8 models and not a
common issue, but all hybrid vehicles
with high voltage battery could
potentially be affected.

This is what has happened to my car. What checks does Vdash do, this info is from the OrBit forum, they have identified the issue and made and upgrade to their software to stop this happening.

I have been to my local dealer and they are saying the will need to pull the HV battery pack out and possibly replace it.
It's clear this is a software issue.
Has anyone else come up with a fix, I know it will be limited, due the small range of vehicles affected.

I still stand by what I said that Vdash has caused the issue, as it was fine before plugged in to get the cem pin decoded.

Visit a volvo dealer and let them check for software updates. Most times it's caused by a combination of old/degraded batterie (new batteries can sometimes also be overmatured or degraded by wrong/to long storage) and a software bug. You can also try to charge your batterie with an AGM compatible charger (positive cable directly at the positive terminal of the batterie and negative cable to the chassis or engine). After it's fully charged, keep the car locked for at least 4 hours.

This error code means you have either a cracked/damaged DPF, or a defective particle sensor.
The readiness codes should be green after you drive the car for a while.

I'm changed battery and error disappear. No resets or updates required.

@TomR what kind of adapter did you use to connect vdash. There are some really bad clones out there, that are known to create problems just by connecting them to the OBD-port.

car doesn't start and I can't connect Vdash as key not active. program says to place key next to start for 5sec but this doesnt help when I put in emergency slot.

If your car is connected to vdash and all modules are showing, you have to click on CEM or BMS. There should be something like reset Battery timer. But if your car is already an ICUP(Android Automotive) one. You need VGM pin for that.

I have the same problem on my xc90 mk2 2018 - i replaced the left headlight with a used one and fitted the original light module to it but the daytime running light / indicator led module (led ballast) was physically broken - when i fit a brand new uncoded module i get similar error codes…. The indicator flashes normally but the dash indicator blinks fast as if a bulb is blown and the daytime running light doesnt work in that light - can this be coded to the car using vdash ?

Thank you for the information, I will have to go to volvo service, it seems to me that the subwoober is dead.
