car doesn't start and I can't connect Vdash as key not active. program says to place key next to start for 5sec but this doesnt help when I put in emergency slot.
@TomR what kind of adapter did you use to connect vdash. There are some really bad clones out there, that are known to create problems just by connecting them to the OBD-port.
@marantz2245 to activate this function, you basically have to activate the high beam when you leave the car, and setup it up in the center console menu. It's all written in the manual. Just read it. Or get a VDD if you want real "coming home" lights.
Your car requires an AGM type battery for the main battery and also an AGM type for the secondary battery. Both batteries should always be replaced together and with the correct procedure. Cheaping out on long lasting parts like batteries will result in really strange problems in the near future, especially as V40s are really, really sensitive when it comes to even small voltage fluctuations.
I have the same problem. I have a 2000 v70R with a m58 awd and i cant get it past 4k i manage to fix new wirings for clutch pedal sensor and have it retuned at a local shop with no sucess.
I tested with Scanmatic 2 and it works perfectly on P3 platform.
So scanmatic 3 wil lwork well there. I am not sure if newer stuff works on scanmatik 3 but if anything will work it it likely that. Scanmatik 2 worked perfectly with VIDA2014D as it was designed for so I might be a question to ask the developer or test yourself.

This error code means you have either a cracked/damaged DPF, or a defective particle sensor.
The readiness codes should be green after you drive the car for a while.

Pieniądze są zwracane na konto Vdash, aby mógł Pan ponownie spróbować wykonać procedurę po usunięciu przyczyny błędów (samo skasowanie DTC nie usuwa błędu).
@expedition1945 your car needs to be modelyear 2005 or newer, so vdash can decode your CEM pin, than you need a virgin (brandnew) or viginized (existing data and security pin removed) CEM to write to. For the rest of the procedure you should contact vdash support.

Dann kannst du dich hier https://tis.volvocars.biz/main.do registrieren und bekommst im Tausch gegen abartig viel Geld Zugang zu allem was du suchst. Mein letzter Sachstand sind knapp 8000 Euro im Jahr, wenn auch Zugriff auf Softwareupdates enthalten sein soll, die natürlich jeweils nochmal extra kosten.
